“A giggle-inducing, ultimately poignant lesson in the power of friendship”
– The New York Times
My goodness! A Goose!
Martha lives alone in a house by the sea, and likes it that way. She is stubborn, eccentric and highly independent and likes her life just fine! When the postman stops by, Martha shoos him away, wanting nothing to do with ANYONE; not the postman, not her next door neighbor, and certainly not her secret admirer from across the bay. Then a goose comes a-calling, and his persistence and frisky personality finally charm her into friendship. This is a simple story about a woman who learns how to finally make friends. Martha is a funny, tender play with loads of heart that will be enjoyed by the whole family.
