We are looking for submissions from professional actors for the following roles for summer 2023:

Play #1

Actor #1: Male,74 years old – sixth generation Canadian of Scottish ancestry 
Actor #2: Female, 54 years old – came to Canada twenty-seven years ago from Jamaica 
Actor #3: Male, 41 years old – came to Canada ten years ago from India 
Actor #4: 26 years old – came to Canada three and a half years ago from China 
Actor #5: 17 years old – came to Canada two months ago from Syria

Play #2 (A small cast musical)

Directed by Jeremy Webb

Two actors/musicians of any gender or cultural background. Age 20 and older, with strong comedic character skills. Must be accomplished pianist and singer – the actors accompany themselves on the piano.

 This play will also run Oct. 10 – Nov. 5

Play #3: Young Company

 Seeking 4 emerging, non-equity actors who sing for the world premiere of a new TYA play.

  • Actors will also lead summer camps for children.

Auditions for both mainstage and the young company are held in late November, in Halifax. A notice is posted through Equity E-Drive, our newsletter, and our Facebook page. Submissions should be sent via email.
