Lunenburg | by Norm Foster
Love on the rocks.
When Iris and her best friend Natalie arrive in Lunenburg from their home in Maine, they find an unpleasant surprise. Recently widowed, Iris discovers that her husband had a house in this charming Nova Scotian town. The charismatic neighbor, Charlie, fills in the gaps of the mystery while romantic sparks fly and laughter abounds.
Directed by Sharon Bajer and featuring Gordon Gammie, Michelle Piller, and Laura Teasdale. This show runs from July 3 to August 25.
“It’s a play less about one-liners and farcical situations than a philosophical comedy about healing and coming to understand oneself better… Lunenburg is not the kind of comedy that shocks but rather one that envelops you in its warmth.”
