Between September and April, volunteers can assist with our community theatre productions at Theatre Antigonish in various capacities from set building to ushering. By completeing the volunteer form below, you will be placed on the community theatre production volunteer list.

Box office, ushering, bartending, and publicity/postering
Each summer, Festival Antigonish works with a large number of community members to ensure a smooth operational running of our professional plays. The majority of our volunteers in the summer are ushers who help welcome patrons to the theatre and direct them to their seats. Usher roles include handing out our programs or patron information flyers, checking guests in at the door, or providing accessiblity assistance.
Between September and April, we also produce a community theatre season wherein you can volunteer in these roles. If you are looking for a more hands-on volunteer experience, we invite you to sign up for Production Volunteering with Theatre Antigonish where you can be involved on stage, behind the scenes, or participate in other amazing opportunities.
