Summer 2026

This summer we invite actors ages 6-17 to a sea of change, learning, laughing and creating through the world of Maritime folklore and themes. Seven weeks of fun, adventure, and transformation are coming to Antigonish, New Glasgow, and Pictou. From seaside villages to treasure hunts to phantom ships and Tempest-inspired theatre, there is something for every age and experience level! Space is limited so register now!

Stage Splash: Ages 6-8 “Shipcove”

July 6-10

New Glasgow

New and returning campers will get creative and work together to bring a seaside village to life. Sea-hardy characters will discover what happens when something unexpected arrives on shore. Through theatre games, storytelling, and imaginative play, young actors will use their minds, voices, and bodies to build a world together. Friends and family are welcomed to a showing on Friday afternoon.

July 20-24

Antigonish

New and returning campers will step aboard and set sail into the unknown. Creating their own seafaring characters and conflicts, these salty actors will learn what can happen when the whole crew works together. Through theatre games, storytelling, and imaginative play, young actors will use their minds, voices, and bodies to bring a ship and its voyage to life. Friends and family are welcomed to a showing on Friday afternoon.

When a mysterious treasure map washes ashore, the adventure begins! New and returning campers will create their own characters, decide what the treasure is, and build a world worth performing. Through character creation, creative problem solving, blocking scenes, and making bold choices intrepid actors will create and perform their own short play. Friends and family are welcomed to a showing on Friday afternoon.

Something mysterious is on the water - but what do we actually see? Campers will take on the roles of a seaside community exploring a maritime sighting while collectively creating and performing their own play. Building on creative instincts, students will develop their acting technique through character work, visual storytelling, and rehearsal process. Recommended for campers who want to grow their abilities on stage. Friends and family are welcomed to a showing on Friday afternoon.

Deep Water Ensemble: Ages 13-17 “The Tempest Project”

Aug 17-21

A storm is coming and this ensemble will decide what it brings. Drawing inspiration from Shakespeare's famous tale of shipwreck, power, and transformation, campers will craft and perform their own original devised theatre piece rooted in the world of Maritime folklore. Through textual analysis, physical theatre, character work, and ensemble collaboration, students will refine their technique while finding their own artistic voice. Suitable for new and returning teen actors seeking a creative challenge and artistic expression. Friends and family are welcomed to a showing on Friday afternoon.
