Festival Antigonish Theatre Academy (FATA) is dedicated to inspiring a lifelong love of theatre through inclusive, process-driven education for youth and adults. Guided by professional teaching artists, our programs encourage students to explore creativity, develop confidence, and discover their unique voices.

Through classes, camps, and workshops offered throughout the year, participants build communication skills, collaborate with others, and grow both artistically and personally through imaginative play.

At FATA, we believe creativity is cultivated through curiosity, exploration, and artistic risk-taking. Our programs prioritize the creative process, empowering participants to experiment, make mistakes, and grow in a supportive environment free from judgment.

Theatre education develops essential life skills that extend far beyond the stage, including problem-solving, resilience, emotional intelligence, and self-confidence.

Programs are offered for a range of ages and experience levels, including youth classes, teen programs, adult classes, March Break programs, PD Day workshops, and seasonal camps in Antigonish and Pictou County.
